With more than 20 years of trial experience, Sean Sullivan joined Tobin & Muñoz in 2012 and brings extensive experience as a military prosecutor, plaintiff’s counsel and criminal defense counsel to the firm’s clients.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Sean served as a Staff Judge Advocate for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. He had been recalled to active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps and was assigned as Chief Trial Prosecutor to USMC Haditha/Hamdiniyah Iraq Law of Armed Conflict Investigations and Prosecutions from July 2006 until January 2012.

During his career, he served as defense counsel in more than 50 felony cases, tried multiple medical malpractice and personal injury cases to verdict and prosecuted numerous contested felony jury trials, including capital murder, rape, drug distribution, financial fraud and assault/battery matters.
